Long Island's Custom Home Builder

Everything Your Home Needs, Under One Roof. One trusted company with 75+ years of combined experience handles your design, permits, construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and financing guidance from the first meeting to the final walkthrough.

Full-Service Design-Build

Everything Your Home Needs, From One Company

Keystone Construction is a full-service design-build company serving homeowners across Long Island. Whether you are refreshing a bathroom, adding a second story, or building a custom home from the ground up, we design it, permit it, and build it, all under one roof.

Most projects force you to hire and coordinate five or six separate companies: a builder, an architect or designer, an HVAC company, a plumber, and an electrician. Keystone brings all of them under one roof. Our own family of companies includes established HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical service businesses, so the people who plan your project are the same ones who build it, wire it, and stand behind it.

No project is too small to deserve real craftsmanship, and none is too large for us to manage. From a quick remodel to a full custom home, you get one point of contact, one schedule, and one company accountable for the finished result.

Reviews

What Long Island Homeowners Say

"Keystone added a second story to our cape and handled everything: plans, the town, plumbing, heat, all of it. One call whenever we had a question. The project finished on the schedule they promised."
Michael R. Second Story Addition, Rocky Point
"We interviewed four builders for our kitchen and mudroom project. Keystone was the only one that could do the gas line, electric, and construction with their own people. It showed in how smoothly everything ran."
Karen & Tom D. Kitchen Remodel, Stony Brook
"From the first meeting they talked numbers honestly and helped us understand financing options. Our new home in Wading River came out better than the renderings. True professionals at every step."

Design-Build, Explained

Why Design-Build Is the Better Way to Build on Long Island

Design-build simply means the people who design your project and the people who build it work for one company, from the same budget from day one.

In the traditional approach, homeowners pay an architect to draw plans, then bid those plans to contractors, and too often discover the design costs far more than expected. Months are lost redrawing. With Keystone's design-build approach, budget, design, engineering, and construction reality are on the table together at the first meeting. The plan you fall in love with is a plan you can actually afford to build, and the company that promised the number is the one swinging the hammers.

It also matters for the paperwork. Long Island towns each have their own permit applications, zoning rules, and inspection sequences. Because we design with those requirements in mind, our plans move through building departments faster, and you are never left coordinating between an architect in one office and a builder in another. Add in our in-house HVAC, plumbing, and electrical trades, and every decision, from where the ductwork runs to which wall holds the panel, is made once, correctly, under one roof.
